This recording documents the second Big Scenic Nowhere rehearsal in preparation for our debut show at Blak Box Theater in Joshua Tree, California, on November 20th, 2021. Up until that debut show, almost all of the recordings we had made were live in the studio jams that were later manipulated into songs by editing and overdubbing through file sharing at our home studios. We had never gone back and tried to play any of those songs after they were finished, until the rehearsals for the debut show. Two days before the show, we convened at a house in Yucca Valley to work out the live arrangements. I brought an 8 track recorder and captured the complete second rehearsal. The order of songs on this LP are the same order as the set list for the show and for those of you who wanted to be there, but couldn’t, this is what we sounded like. - Reed, Oct. ‘25
